JDF Requirements

Here I will outline the requirements that is did to be a JDF member for infantry, reserve and officer. Also bare in mind if you don't meet some of these requirements you might not be accepted in the JDF.

For the Infantry Solider you have will have to go through the Jamaica National Service Corps (JNSC) program and it is mandatory.

Qualification: 3 CXC passes preferable Maths and English,  City & Guilds lvl 3 is accepted only

Age: 18-23 (17 accepted once parental consent is given)

Height: Male- 5ft 7in, Female- 5ft 4in

For the Commission Officers the requirements is a bit a more stricter and the success rather is low

Qualification: 5 CXC passes inclusive of Maths & English, in addition to an Associate Degree or Diploma

Age: 17-23 (up to 25 years with a first degree)

Height: Male- 5ft 7in, Female- 5ft 4in

For the Reserve Solider are the soldiers that work part time so this are mostly for persons that want to be apart of the JDF and want .

Qualification: 3 CXC passes preferable Maths and English,  City & Guilds lvl 3 is accepted only and has to be working

Age: 18-38 years old

Height: Male- 5ft 7in, Female- 5ft 4in
