JDF Processing Outline

Here I will outline the JDF process and what you will have to go through to complete the process. Videos will be provided for each process so that you can better understand what to expect.

JDF Extrance Exam

The JDF entrance exam consist of 3 tests that include Math, English and general Knowledge. All 3 test are multiple choice and the past mark 60%, they normally tell you went if you pass or fail on the same day.

If you have a pass in Maths, then you will only do English and General Knowledge. Also if you have a pass in English then you will only do Maths and General Knowledge. In addition if you have passes in both Maths & English then you would only have General Knowledge to do.

JDF Blood Test

The JDF test is where they would send to a blood bank to have blood sample taken to be taken. If your blood is suited then you will also get to donate blood which is use for person that may need blood due to an accident or an illness.

JDF Sickle Test

The JDF sickle test that is used to see if you have the full blown or trait of sickle. Shown in the JDF requirements sickle is one of the illnesses that prevent you from being accepted into the JDF.

JDF Final Medical Test

The JDF Final Medical is the medical process where you are physical examined by the JDF doctor. You will have to undress completely so that the doctor will do the examination and there is a medical form that you will get to fill out as well.

For the females there will be a females present if you getting looked at by a male doctor so you don't need to worry or feel uncomfortable. In addition you will be doing a eye test to test your vision on that day to test your vision on that day. It's also when you will know if you have any additional shots to take as well.

JDF Dental Review

The JDF dental review is the process where the JDF Dentist will be looking at your teeth to see if there are in good condition. They will either tell you to clean, fill or pull a tooth when the review is done.

Also to note when you're going to do the dental review you not suppose to have on any braces. You have to remove the braces and come back at a later date.

JDF Physical Test

The JDF physical test and a physical exam that is use to see if you are physical fit to join the JDF. You will be asked to push ups, sit-ups, squats and laps around the field and you will have PTIs that will be there assess you during this process.

Remember to stay hydrated because the heat at Up Park Camp can be a bit unbearable.

JDF X-ray Examination

The JDF X-ray examination is a X-ray that will will have to pay for, it can vary from $6000-$6500 base on where they send you to do the X-ray.

It's the only process that you will have to pay for and they only take cash or card so you can't use a health card to pay for it.

JDF Security Vetting

The JDF Security Vetting is a process of which JDF collect all the necessary info to do a background check and also your fingerprint. It is recommended that you have credit on your phone because you will be will be making a lot of call on this day.

JDF Psychometric Test

The JDF psychometric test is a simple exam that is used to test critical thinking and problem solving skills. Here you will have to think outside of the box in this situation, the test can also vary from what you see in the video has well so best to keep a open mind.

JDF Psychiatric Test

The JDF psychiatric test is a process to test your mental state to see how best you work under pressure. They don't want you to lose yourself while in the army because it is a very demanding work.

You will be asked a series of questions so base on your response they will know if you are a good fit for the JDF mentally.

JDF Reading & Dictation

The JDF reading & dictation for a quick assessment to see if you have the ability to read & write. You will be asked to read a passage and write a passage that is being read to you.

This was implemented by JDF due to the fact that most members that were getting in were unable to read and write properly.

JDF Credibility Test

The JDF credibility test is a lie detector test where you will be hooked up to a computer answering a series of questions that will be showing on a computer screen.

The question do cycle fast on the computer so you will have to be a bit quick and at times some questions do repeat but are structure differently so you have to be sharp.

JDF Attestation

The JDF attestation is the final process before you go into training, this is where you will get your acceptance letter and be briefed on what is expected of you training and also certain documents will be finalized in the process.

Once you have gotten to here then you will know that you have made it into training.
